Alicante airport schedules 12.3 million seats in summer, 40% more to Spanish destinations

Alicante airport plans to offer 12.3 million seats for the summer season, a 40% increase in seats to Spanish destinations. The operation will begin on Sunday, and represents a 4.4% increase in seating capacity from the 2019 season prior to the pandemic. The UK will have 4.1 million seats, 91% of the pre-pandemic year. The number of scheduled operations has decreased by 0.2% from the 2019 season. The domestic market is experiencing significant growth, with more than 1.8 million seats for flights within Spain, an increase of 40%.
